It has been almost exactly a year since I’ve posted on here. As far as photography goes, I have not been as active as I would have liked in 2014. This past Summer I was able to travel along the coast of California which gave me the great opportunity to take some amazing photographs in the Golden State. For those of you that have been to California before you may notice some very famous landmarks stretching from San Diego to Los Angeles. You can always view more photos at my Flickr page.
This Summer I was lucky enough to travel to Italy for 10 days. Being a lover of food, history, and breathtaking sights, this trip was a once in a lifetime opportunity. While in Italy I took advantage of the beautiful cityscapes and countryside with a brand new camera (Nikon D5200). The majority of the photos that I took were located in Venice, Florence, and Rome. Check out some of my photos below. I may upload more on my Flickr.
I haven’t posted on my blog in a while. This year has been pretty busy for me as I transitioned into a new job. I am down Long Beach Island this Summer for vacation and I have had the opportunity to take some really scenic photos of the shore. The photo in this post was taken right by the dock on the West Lee Avenue side of Barengat Bay. Visit my Flickr for some more photos in my gallery.
I have been pretty busy this Summer and I haven’t had much time take any photos. A couple weeks ago I took another Sunday hike through Loantaka Park. For some reason I had a Passion Pit song stuck in my head and I feel like it really translated through in this photo. I feel that it captures the whimsical and laid back days of Summer.
This past week I was looking through folders of photos that I took this past Summer. I came across photos that were snapped at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm during the fourth of July. I decided to try out some new angles and render some of the photos in a sepia tone. I might decide to post more later on this blog or Flickr. Here is one photo that really stood out to me personally.
During the Christmas break i took a rather interesting shot in my house with a Rubik’s Cube and a Bob Dylan book. The lighting and colors turned out pretty cool and I am happy with the results. I have some other posts on my Flickr page if you wish to view those snaps. I hope everyone had a great New Year!
